The STNGR AXIOM II Red Dot Sight + Its Game Changing QD Mount

But that's not why we're here. We want to talk about this great feature. It's a $55-$65 feature that you'd have to buy on your own that STNGR has included. It's this Quick Detach mount and I'm gonna tell you why this is such a great add-on to an already great red dot sight.

Now, before we get into it, as usual, we got to do some of the specs. The optic alone weighs a little under four ounces. The optic with the low mount is a little under five ounces and the optic with the high mount is a little over six ounces. The eye relief is unlimited.

It also comes with a rubber lens cover, the battery, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and the torque wrench.

So let's get to the good stuff. What makes this red dot different than most other red dots besides all the great features that I talked about before? Well, it's the fact that it comes with this Quick Detach mount. Specifically, it is a T1/T2 compatible QD Lower 1/3 co-witness mount.

Installing your AXIOM II with the quick detach mount is very simple. The first thing you will do is line up your sight with the flat top or the picatinny rail on the top of the AR-15. Once you're ready to install, simply fit your sight to the picatinny rail and then move the quick detach latch into the locking position like so. To remove your Quick Detach sight, simply pull the latch to the back and then reverse the process.
